What Should We Do About Dog Aggression?
posted on December 22, 2009 at 9:02AM in blog
by Lindsay Biddle
When we talk about the American Pit Bull Terrier, most dyed-in-the-wool fanatics will tell you (often with the gleam of pride in their eyes) that it is without a doubt a dog-aggressive breed. But when you ask the unknowing public about Pit Bulls, they often equate them more with consuming babies than with attacking other dogs, and will even use terms like “pack mentality” when referring to them. Of course, the remainder of APBT enthusiasts are scattered somewhere in... Read More
The Things Some People Say
posted on December 14, 2009 at 10:35AM in blog
Some people really amaze me. Seems like every time you read an article in the newspaper or see a story on the evening news about a “pitbull” attack, they’ll have a quote or soundbite from some person or other whom we might otherwise assume is well-educated and/or open minded. Often, these people work for “Animal rights” groups. Some of them even have credentials after their names, like PHd. What really surprises me is the fact that these people are, apparently, so ... Truth About Finding Blue Pitbull Breeders
posted on August 21, 2009 at 3:25PM in blog
Many of the blue pitbull breeders are not going to have the dogs you seek when you catch wind of these special interbred dogs. Blue pitbulls are rare and are very difficult to get your hands on. You literally need to interbreed the dogs over and over again until you get the right combination of genes that produce the blue pitbulls. This can take months or even years and depending on how pure the breed is, you can expect to pay a very large amount for your dog in the thousands range. It is import... Read More
I'm Angry At The Cable Guy And The Dogs Feelings Are Hurt
posted on July 13, 2009 at 3:57PM in blog
Good article that shows how some people just don't get it...
Why am I angry at the cable guy? Because he hurt my dog's feelings of course. You see the other day I was having some technical difficulties with my cable. I called for help and a technician was promptly dispatched. He was a sneaky fellow and somehow made it into my driveway and on to my porch with the dogs or I noticing.
We were startled when the knock at the door came and as most dogs do my pitbull and mutt went to the door and ca... Read More

Sign The Petition Against Pitbull Ban
posted on May 22, 2009 at 1:27PM in blog
I found this petition online and encourage any and everyone else to support this cause. We all know the bad name that people are using to target any breed that resembles a pitbull. Let's do something to fight against this. This petition is for California ban speficically but FindAPitbull will be creating it's own petition to stop this law nationwide and maybe one day world wide.
Support the cause and help make it a better and safer place for the pitbulls that our children will have tomorrow. He... Read More
