When it Comes to the Breed, We all Have Much to Learn

Some things in life are so foreign to us that in order to know what they are about, we really have to take an in depth look at them. Pitbulls are one of those things. If you have no real knowledge, first hand experience or the resources available to help you get those things, then you cannot fully understand the pitbull breeders network in America.

I'm happy that I am able to do what I can with the help of FindaPitbull.com to express the need for better publicity for the pitbull breed. Much thanks goes to Russell Krohn and his wife Kim whom I had the pleasure of meeting this weekend at the ABA Confirmation and Weight Pull event held on the State Fair grounds in Sedalia, MO. Russell has been very helpful in helping us learn what it's all about. And a special day it was, being his birthday and all.

Russell has been involved with the Pitbull breed for over 30 years and is still going strong. He has been a big part of organizing pitbull shows in the Mid-West and has seen many of the best dogs from all across the country. And he has helped me to realize that's exactly what we want on our website.

There are many breeders that are doing their thing, the right thing, and actually loving and training their dogs to be successful in competition. Keeping their dogs fit, not over fed and out of shape. It's almost a guarantee that you won't see much dogs at those competitions that are not in a good shape physically and for the most part mentally. Dogs are always going to have different reactions when around so many other dogs, so there may be some barking and leash pulling, but still just a fun time going on.

We look forward to attending more events in the future and learning as much as we can from the people involved.
