As a member you automatically qualify to enter a pitbull in each competition held throughout the year. You will also receive discounted rates on pitbull magazines and pitbull products from our Online Pitbull Accessories Store.
Member Benefits
There will be membership fees and based on the membership type, you may or may not have to pay for the following :
A. Yearly Registration or Monthly Membership
We offer yearly registrations as well as monthly memberships. Of course you can guess, only difference is that yearly is a lot cheaper. We are starting an alliance, more or less, of pitbull sellers nationwide who are actually trying to make a living off of breeding pits. NOT TRYING TO FIGHT THEM. Anyone of our members that we even hear about or think is taking part in illegal activities related to animal fighting will be banned from the association. This is the first and only warning whether they have understood our terms or not.
So eventually, we will have a large network of pitbull breeders that a family can come to and get a pet from. Not a dog that may have some bad fighting blood in him because of the way his owner treated him. If that's what you're doing then I can regretfully say that we don't want to have anything to do with that. If not, then we are fully serviced to advertise throughout google and other search engines to help you sell your pitbulls.
Free memberships can upload up to 1 pitbull and will have a profile page where they can add more photos and a description and save friends etc. Basically, show off your pitbull on their own social network page.
B. Listing Pitbull Dogs for Sale
This will only be available to our paid members. This is the section of our site that we will be spending our own advertising budget on helping it to get good conversions. Listings are charged by dog and there is an unlimited number that can be added. Sellers get their own seller page with all of their listings and a bio and logo area. Fully certified members get 5 free yearly listings that can run until the dog is sold.
C. Downloadable Pitbull E-books
We offer a large collection of pitbull specific e-books and are in the process of obtaining much more. These are free to all paid members but start at $3.99 for non-members. Free members receive one free download and can upgrade to download more.
D. Search Engine Optimization
We will be doing pay-per-click advertising and driving traffic to our sellers section. This will help get you exposure on search engines which will help increase the chances of you making a sale. Our whole goal is to serve our paying members and to help them get their pits sold.
E. Selling a Pitbull on the Website
Members who have paypal can sell their dogs directly through the website or accept a down payment. All website sales have a 5% transaction fee associated. However, if the dog is not purchased through or from an inquiry on the site, then we do not take any commission.

By being a registered breeder on our website, you will get to take part in our Certified Pitbull Dealers Program (CPDP). CPDP is a program we started a year ago to protect the innocent pitbull owners and prospective buyers. According to our standards, any user who has not received this certification already, is not authorized to sell pitbulls online and especially not through our website. Our members must follow our Breeder Guidelines without question. Our intentions are to make sure that the pitbulls sold and bought on our website are not used for any illegal activities and that they are sold to a family that believes in the good ethical treatment of pitbulls and all dogs in general.
How much does it cost?
Yearly membership registration is $129.99 for our Certified Pitbull Dealers Program (CPDP). CPDP certifications can be renewed in either 1, 2 or 5 year incriments. You can contact us to get more information on what is included in the pricing.
By becomming a member, you also get to take advantage of our "Featured Pitbulls" section which is advertised throughout the site to get you more exposure. Users can also opt to personalize their page with their own colors, images and videos. Once you are a member you can request to customize you page. Each dog listing will have an individual page and the breeder will have a profile page which will be used list their dogs and provide information to buyers.
We also offer a link exchange program and are more than happy to link to other websites, free of charge. This is a service only available to members or to affilates of FindAPitbull.com.

CPDP Breeder Guidelines
The FindaPitbull.com Breeder Code of Ethics give our members manditory guidelines for ethical practices of breeding, possession and sales of Pitbulls.
1. Provide clean, adequate, safe housing and run areas specific to the nature and exercise requirements for the pitbull breed.
2. Research the breed before breeding or purchasing a pitbull. Know the standard and only breed pitbulls that show proper breed type and good temperament. Breeders should always consider the strengths and weaknesses of each potential pairing. Always breed to better the breed.
3. Perform all customary health tests for your breed prior to breeding, and disclose all results to possible puppy buyers. If health tests were not performed, disclose that fact to any possible puppy buyers.
4. Ensure that all breeding dogs are positively identifiable. Microchips, DNA, photo registration, and tattoos are all acceptable forms of identification.
5. Breed dogs that are in good health, temperamentally sound, and free from genetic faults.
6. Obtain a signed stud dog contract prior to breeding. The stud contract should, at minimum, designate the number of ties that will be allowed, the amount of time between ties, the stud fee or pick of the litter, address how a single puppy litter will be handled, and address what each party will do if no puppies are yielded.
7. Only breed dogs that are physically and mentally mature enough to breed, and do not continue to breed any male or female that is unfit for breeding. Do not breed with any pitbull that has taken part in any fighting or mistreatment by the owner or with the intent of using any of the puppies for any illegal activities related to dog fighting or animal mistreatment.
8. Make every effort possible to ensure that pitbull puppies are in good health and free from genetic defects at the time of sale.
9. Review each prospective buyer carefully and make every effort to ensure that each puppy is placed in a home that is in the best interest of the new owner and the puppy.
10. Help to educate pitbull puppy buyers with more information about the breed and what is required in terms of exercise, nutrition, training, and socialization.
11. Make both parent pitbulls available for viewing to potential puppy buyers along with proper registration papers of the parents. Not a requirement, but for more credibility, including information about the history of the parents is also good. This ensures that the parents have not been involved in any illegal activities or at least gives the buyers the knowledge which can affect their choice.
12. Provide each new pitbull owner with the proper paperwork to register their new puppy at the time the puppy leaves the breeder’s premises. This should include at a minimum: registration form for the puppy, health and shot information, and a signed contract. Do a follow up check to ensure that the dog is properly registered in the alloted time.
13. Include in each signed pitbull the following minimum requirements: a return policy for the pitbull and time limit on how long the time policy stands, explanation of health guarantee and time limit, and spay/neuter requirements, if any. 14. Any advertising, whether oral or written, shall be factual, not misleading, and not designed to attract undesirable buyers or to encourage the raising of dogs for any undesirable reason. If it is found that the pitbulls are being used illegally or mistreated, membership is immediately forfeited and the breeder will go onto our ban list, even if Findapitbull.com doesn't get notice immediately. Membership rights can be reinstated once an investigation is conducted.
